Get ready for the annual Rock’N’Roll Marathon!
Call to Action
VOBOC directors are lacing up their shoes and choosing to make a positive impact in the lives of adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with cancer. They are putting their soles to the ground and making sure that each of their steps count as they raise money for VOBOC at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, to be held here in Montreal on September 25th 2016.
The challenge is to raise a minimum of $500 per runner. They would like you to join them this year to help make a real difference in the lives of adolescents and young adults here in Montreal.
Last year was VOBOC’s first time running in the Montreal Rock’N’Roll Marathon, where we raised nearly $3,500 to help obtain Vo-Paks for new AYAs.
This year we need to raise more funds to be able get closer to our long term goals of ensuring that every AYA gets a Vo-Pak.
Why are these Vo-Pak backpacks so important?
These Paks help break isolation for AYAs new to the scary world of cancer and help equip, empower and engage them through their cancer journey. As a result, let’s work hard to raise the most funds possible this year.
