The Cody Michael Bouchard Fund
We are humbled and excited to introduce The CMB Fund, now a part of The VOBOC Foundation.
The CMB Fund was created by the Bouchard family in honour of their late son Cody. Cody passed away in February 2020 after a courageous battle against cancer, he was 19 years old.
When diagnosed with cancer Cody felt very fortunate to have his family and community’s support. He was determined to fight as hard as possible and to stay positive.
Cody received a Vo-Pak when he began his cancer treatment and said it made him feel the support of a larger community. He knew that the same support was not always there for everyone going through cancer and he felt that no one should ever fight alone. Cody made it clear that he wanted to help cancer-stricken kids and the CMB Fund will strive to do this with the help of the community.
The VOBOC Foundation is honoured to champion The CMB Fund and help fulfill Cody’s wishes to support other youth fighting cancer.
