Women and Wine… Just BeCAUSE
Great things happen when women come together. Host your own ‘Women and Wine’ event and help raise funds for VOBOC’s Vo-Pak backpacks and Last or Special Requests program. It is an opportunity to get together with all of the wonderful women in your life while raising funds to help improve the lives of Adolescents and Young Adults with cancer.
Birthday Parties
Bonnie’s Birthday
As an active supporter of VOBOC for many years, Yvan organized a 60th birthday party for his wife, Bonnie. In lieu of gifts, her friends and family raised funds for VOBOC. We are beyond grateful for Bonnie’s contribution!
Suzanne’s Birthday
Suzanne hosted an online fundraiser for her birthday! Friends and family generously donated in her honour. It was a great success and we are so thankful for her generosity!
Hat Day
Elementary schools are encouraged to host their very own Hat Day! For a suggested $2 donation, students can wear a beanie, a ball cap, or the craziest hat in their closet, all day long! All funds raised will help Adolescents and Young Adults with cancer.
We would like to thank St. John Fisher Elementary School and St. Charles Elementary School for holding their recent Hat Day events!
Dress Down Day
High schools are encouraged to participate in their own fundraisers too! For schools with uniforms, this could be a “Dress-down” Day. Other schools may prefer to host a Pyjama Day, Costume Day, or Themed Shirt Day.
A suggested $5 donation from participating students helps improve the experiences and outcomes of Adolescents and Young Adults with cancer.
