October 2013

To the VOBOC team,

The hemo-oncology team at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal would like to thank the VOBOC Foundation from the bottom of our hearts for having helped one our patients see one of his dreams realised: to visit Vancouver for the first time and see his friend. Thanks to your contribution and your quick response to our request, our young 20 year old patient, diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma in March of 2013, was able to travel to Vancouver with his friend from August 5 to August 8, 2013 and truly enjoy himself. He died August 14, 2013. His family joins us in thanking you for this wonderfully generous gesture. Your contribution has made a difference!

Thank you and we look forward to collaborating with you in the future for the benefit of our young adults!
